        <description>Came across this video which artfully expresses what educators need to be considering in guiding the 21st &amp;nbsp;century learner.  &lt;br /&gt;

Liked Ken Kays quote on 21st century set of literacies our learning environments need to cater for : i.e  &lt;br /&gt; 
&amp;#39;find information,validate information, synthesize information, leverage, communicate, collaborate and problem solve&amp;quot; &amp;nbsp;. Yet at the  &lt;br /&gt; 
same time think we can&amp;#39;t ignore the &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/01/04/AR2009010401532.html&quot;&gt;voices&lt;/a&gt; who caution against adopting this approach willy nilly.  &lt;br /&gt;

Still&amp;nbsp;Stephen Heppels take on social networking spaces as a space to &amp;#39;reflect, retract, research ..a gentle space&amp;#39; coaxes one to pause and consider the potential benefits that these non-adversarial spaces may offer.  &lt;br /&gt;
